Schlagwerk Tablet Snare

Compact sound. Big impact. A classic snare drum takes up a relatively large amount of space and isn’t the most practical solution for every situation. That’s exactly where the Tablet Snare comes in: With its compact design, it offers a space-saving alternative without compromising on sound or usability. The Tablet Snare is placed on a snare stand and is the ideal solution for compact drum sets, acoustic sessions, and anyone who doesn’t want to sacrifice a distinctive snare sound in a small space. With its extremely flat design, it fits perfectly into small setups, is easy to transport, and opens up entirely new playing possibilities.

The Tablet Snare truly reveals its unique character when played with brushes: responsive, direct, and pleasantly controlled. The textured surface provides the brushes with just the right amount of grip when sweeping, enabling a smooth, expressive playing feel with a natural response. This results in finely nuanced sweeps and rhythmic textures with plenty of control and character. The flat playing surface delivers a dry, defined sound with a quick attack—ideal for jazz, singer-songwriters, café gigs, or small percussion setups. Whether as a space-saving main snare, a creative addition to a hybrid setup, or a hassle-free companion on the go—the Tablet Snare combines minimalist design with maximum functionality. Lightweight, compact, and ready to use right out of the box.
